Honsel Discus Ceiling Wall Lamp in Brushed Aluminum - Space Age Rarity from the 1960s, 1970s - vintage
Original Discus lamp from the 1960s to 1970s by Honsel. The lamp is made of brushed aluminium and in its original condition. It can be attached to the ceiling as well as to the wall. The elegantly shaped aluminium shade first falls slightly inwards before rising again towards the frame. A mirror head lamp creates a beautiful, indirect light with a beautiful corona around the luminaire. These discus lights have now become a classic of recent design history and are rarely available. An absolute eye-catcher and a must for a 70s retro interior. The luminaire has an E 27 metal ceramic socket and a metal bracket for wall/ceiling mounting. The lamp is in excellent condition and the aluminum surface without scratches.
