Peill & Putzler pendant lamp Wave: Very well-preserved pendant lamp from the 1970s. This lamp is the large version with an umbrella diameter of 33 cm. This classic was designed by Koch & Lowy for the company Peill & Putzler in Düren and won the IF Design Award in 1975.
The lamp is made of clear glass and chrome-plated metal. The special feature of this lamp is the organic shape of the shade with the eponymous wavy indentations as well as the chrome-plated lamp holder, which is guided through the interior of the shade. With a head mirror lamp, the structure of the lamp comes into its own best. The canopy is made of black plastic. The cable contains an integrated steel cable for security, which is guided in the cable and is fixed to the luminaire and the ceiling hook. All in all, a very solid work with - in the truest sense of the word - extraordinary charisma.
