Cosack aluminium wall lamp, brushed aluminium - 1960s
A very rare lamp, originally made in the 1960s by Cosack, Germany. The lamp is made of black metal and brushed aluminium. It can be attached to the ceiling as well as to the wall. The luminaire has an E 27 metal socket and a black metal plate for wall/ceiling mounting. The lamp is in good condition with only small scratches*. The elegantly shaped aluminium lampshade slopes slightly inwards before rising again towards the frame. A mirror head lamp produces a beautiful indirect light with a beautiful corona around the lamp body. These discus lights have become a classic of recent design history and are rarely available anymore. An absolute eye-catcher in a retro 60s interior.
