Upholstered piano stool/spring-loaded swivel stool from Bombenstabil, solid beech, antique stool
Brown, upholstered and spring-loaded swivel stool from the 1st half of the 20th century by Stoelcker KG, Ettenheim, known under the name Bombenstabil. The special feature is the suspension with a rotary mechanism and the inscription: Buffer rotary D.R.P. Bomb Stable - D.R.P. stands for German Reich Patent. The stool is made of solid beech wood and has an upholstered seat with leather upholstery. The stool is very stable and can be adjusted in height from 46 cm to approx. 52 cm with the help of a steel spindle. The spindle runs well and the suspension is intact. All screws are tight. The stool was obviously extensively restored some time ago.
