XXL discus lamp, ceiling wall lamp made of painted aluminum - Space Age rarity from the 1960s - vintage
Very large discus lamp from the 1960s to 1970s in very good original condition. A manufacturer's label is missing - but probably Kontakt/Staff based on the socket holder. The lamp is made of aluminum and painted white. It can be attached to the ceiling or the wall. The lamp is in very good condition and has almost no scratches. The elegantly shaped aluminum shade slopes slightly inwards before rising again towards the socket and ending with a slight bend at the top edge of the socket.
A mirror head lamp creates a beautiful, indirect light with a beautiful corona around the lamp body. These discus lamps have now become a classic in recent design history and are quite rare in this size. An absolute eye-catcher and a must for a 60s / 70s retro interior.
