Bentwood stool from the beginning of the 20th century, manufacturer unknown, design similar to Jacob & Josef Kohn (Austria - Hungary).
The large piano stool is made of solid beech wood and has a seat made of bent plywood. The surface is black and covered with shellac. The stool is stable and can be adjusted in height from 47 cm to approx. 63 cm using a steel spindle. The curved feet of the wide base are held together at the bottom by a wooden cross. The stool is technically in good condition. The spindle runs well, but has some play. The shellac surface shows clear signs of wear and tear, or is no longer there in many places, see photos - beautiful vintage condition.
