Well-preserved Leclaire & Schäfer table lamp with adjustable shade, timeless classic from the 1950s, model no. 5900/1. This model is often referred to as "Cobra". The elegant lamp is made entirely of metal, the base and neck are made of brass, the shade is covered with shrink varnish on the outside and painted white on the inside.
The desk lamp provides a bright, pleasant, glare-free light thanks to its large, curved lampshade and is very solidly made. The round, conical base houses the push button. The lampshade stays in any position.
The lamp is in good condition, with the following signs of use: some small dents on the brass base, paint damage on the inside of the shade and paint damage on the outside - see picture no. 7. The gooseneck stays in any position.
The power plug can be replaced with a US plug if desired.
