Long and beautiful wall sconce made of German Murano ice glass by Egon Hillebrand, model: 8527-231. This wall sconce consists of a brass bracket and a piece of Murano glass.
The lamp is equipped with 2 lamp sockets (E14). The lamp has a heavy shade in the shape of a half tube and is screwed onto the bracket with two spherical nuts. There is a switch on the lamp so that the lamp can be switched on and off directly on the bracket. The lamp can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.
The lights are in very good condition - see photos.
The Egon Hillebrand Leuchtenfabrik, Neheim-Hüsten was founded on May 15, 1881 by the master plumber and locksmith Egon Hillebrand as a manufacturer of nickel silver lids for beer mugs, common household appliances, kerosene lamps and storm and carriage lanterns.
With the arrival of his son Franz, the company was converted to the production of electric lighting fixtures at the turn of the century.
