A pair of table lamps with ice-colored glass spheres on a chrome base by Doria - Model No. 1280, West Germany. This lamp impresses with its 1970s design, solid craftsmanship, and good original condition, featuring very beautiful, well-preserved shades. The lamp features a solid base with a chrome cover, onto which the glass shade is screwed. The shade has a large, glued-in metal thread in the lower part of the shade. The lamp is operated via a cord-operated push-button switch.
Unfortunately, I had to replace a defective switch, and since new switches wouldn't fit into the old switch housing, I had to resort to an existing older model – unfortunately, with a black push button – see photo. The silver backing paper on the bottom of one light is slightly torn.
