Art Deco chandelier, EZAN, four-armed, France 1930s

French chandelier from the 1930s - original Art Deco. The solid, chrome-plated chandelier features a walnut wood covering on the lower part of the pendant rod and a chrome-plated tube covering on the upper part. The elegantly curved arms are also chrome-plated and further embellished with decorative brass finials. These finials are topped with artfully stepped, chrome-plated sockets. Two additional lamps are mounted in the central section, giving the chandelier a total of six light sources. The glass shades are made of heavy, frosted glass and are ornately decorated. All shades bear the "Ezan France" logo: very small on the inside of the upper rim of the upper shades and on the edge of the lower shade – see photo. The shades are all in excellent condition with no visible damage. The chandelier is in good to very good condition; the wiring has clearly been replaced at some point. The chandelier uses B22 bayonet sockets, as is standard in France, and six matching bulbs are included*. Rare collector's item from the Art Deco era.
