Unique piano lamp made of cast brass, France around 1900. The lamp is characterized by its delicate design decorated with leaf ornaments.
The lamp consists of a cast-iron base plate onto which the lamp is mounted. The lamp arm can be adjusted via a ball joint at the bottom and a swivel joint at the top. The design features a striking 360-degree rotation of the lamp arm.
The socket is also made of brass – type B22 (bayonet socket). The light is controlled by an old Bakelite cord switch. The rest of the electrical system has been replaced. The cable originally ran inside the lamp arm, but unfortunately, the cable duct is no longer usable – likely due to old cable remnants. Therefore, the cable now runs outside. A modern LED linear bulb with a matching bayonet socket is included.
A very solid and heavy lamp from the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century, made in France.
