Extremely rare table lamp from the 1960s by the well-known lighting company Kaiser Leuchten, Arnsberg, West Germany, model no. 6813.
The lamp impresses with its modern 1960s design with an L-shaped metal base, the curved brass arm as well as the contrasting color scheme and the push button switch on the shade.
The heavy metal base features an anthracite-colored hammered finish and rests only at the ends of the conical base. This gives the lamp a very elegant appearance. The brass arm is curved and sturdy. The lampshade is painted lemon yellow on the outside and white on the inside. The outer paint finish is now quite matte. The lampshade can be adjusted using a ball joint on the shade.
The lamp is very solidly constructed and is in its original condition, with typical signs of wear on the brass and paint—see pictures. Only the push button switch has been replaced.
The power plug can be replaced with a US plug or alternatively equipped with a US adapter if desired.
