Art Deco chandelier, five-armed, France, pendant lamp, 1930s

High-quality French chandelier from the 1930s – original Art Deco. The solid, chrome-plated chandelier features a walnut wood covering around the pendant rod, and a chrome-plated tube covering in the middle and upper sections. The elegantly curved arms are also chrome-plated. The glass shades are made of heavy glass (660 g/each), frosted on the outside and smooth on the inside, and decoratively embellished at the ends. The shades are all in very good condition and bear no manufacturer's logo, but the chandelier's style and quality of workmanship are reminiscent of chandeliers from Ezanville (EZAN). The heavy wooden central section with its surrounding chrome band and hemispherical finials is particularly striking. The chandelier is in good condition; the chrome parts show only slight signs of age, the cables appear to be of more recent manufacture, and the terminals for connecting the cables have been replaced. The chandelier has B22 bayonet sockets, as is common in France; 5 matching LED bulbs are included*. A rare collector's item from the Art Deco era.
