Collector's item: Minimalist design classic from the 1960s - 70s: Table lamp/piano lamp by Leclaire&Schäfer, Neheim, West Germany, type 5923/1
The cuboid lamp head is made of green-painted sheet metal with perforations on the top and a frosted glass panel on the bottom. This ensures glare-free light. This diffuser is unfortunately missing. The lamp head is connected to the nickel-plated arm via a ball joint. The arm is flexibly attached to the shaft and the heavy base with a disc joint. This joint is no longer original but has been replaced with a new, high-quality, dark gray joint. This allows the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways.
The small lamp has an E 14 socket made of brass and is switched on and off via a cord switch on the cable.
The lamp is very solidly made and is in good, functional condition with clear signs of aging.
