A classic piano lamp from the Dutch De Stijl movement, dating from 1928. This lamp has recently been reproduced in Germany by the company Tecnolumen. The lamp offered here bears the serial number 1376 and is in near-mint condition.
Manufacturer's description: "The DS 28 piano lamp is a table lamp reduced to its basic forms, drawing from the design repertoire of the De Stijl movement. The lamp model was originally designed in 1928 by an unknown artist. It is ideally suited for pianos, but also works wonderfully as library lighting. TECNOLUMEN has revived the original design and is producing the De Stijl DS 28 piano lamp, adapted to modern technical standards."
