Large, solid desk lamp in the Bauhaus design tradition. Based on the plug, it likely dates from the 1930s. The lamp is finished with a bronze-gold shimmering hammered paint and is made entirely of metal. Its large, domed shade provides bright, pleasantly glare-free light, and it is very solidly constructed. The domed base, also painted, houses the push-button switch. The lamp is in good original condition for its age, with noticeable signs of wear on the surfaces; the electrical components are still original*.
The table lamp is ideal as a lamp for the desk or as an eye-catcher on a chest of drawers.
The power plug can be exchanged for a US plug or a contemporary EU plug upon request.
