Antique Victorian solid wood three-legged stool, upholstered. The stool stands on three artfully turned wooden legs, joined at the bottom. It has an upholstered, crescent-shaped seat cushion with a fabric cover, attached to the frame with decorative nails. The cover is probably not original.
The wood is probably walnut.
The varnish was slightly reworked with shellac, see photos.
