Gooseneck desk lamp from the 1950s by the company Helion Arnstadt. Comparable in quality to Kaiser Idell.
Metal gooseneck, Bakelite clamp base and lampshade, and a solid toggle switch beneath the gooseneck. The lamp base features a ball joint, allowing the lamp to be fixed in various positions. It also has a sturdy steel clamp for securing the lamp to a table. The lampshade is also connected to the gooseneck via a robust ball joint – see photos. The inside of the shade is painted silver; some of the paint is missing, and the shade appears to have been glued at some point – see photos. Otherwise, the lamp is in good vintage condition with typical signs of wear.
