Antique piano stool from the late 19th century (1880-1900) with glass spheres in claw feet – Great Britain or USA. The stool has a frame of four angled, turned legs which support the plate with the spindle nut. The legs are held together at the bottom by decorative braces. The steel spindle slopes slightly towards the edge. The stool is height-adjustable from 47 cm to approximately 58 cm.

Condition: The stool is heavy and stable. All glued joints have been inspected and repaired where necessary. The spindle and spindle guide are in very good condition; the spindle has minimal play and has been oiled. The dark varnish on the surfaces is partially chipped and matte, creating a unique patina. The metal feet with the glass spheres are all intact and show some light surface rust.
Beautiful collector's item in technically good, ready-to-use condition with clear signs of aging on the surfaces.
